However, being invited to the combine is certainly not a guaranteed ticket to being drafted. Nearly one third of those invited do not get drafted at all. Of course there are those who do not get invited to the combine but make it into the NFL Then there are those who never ever make it into the NFL no matter what their dreams may be. But all is not lost. Many famous people have played football and they become famous entirely outside of football and the NFL.
